Absolutely. It comes as a surprise to most U.S. and Canadian citizens that Mexico does not have a ­mortgage market similar to that in the U.S and Canada. In fact, real estate purchases in Mexico are mostly cash ­transactions.

Will I get a good Rental Income?
In Puerto Vallarta and the entire Bay of Banderas there is a very strong rental market for condominiums.
Quality properties, which are competitively priced, can expect to rent as well or better than luxury resorts, which have an average occupancy of 70 to 85% a year.

Taheima Wellness Resort & Spa will operate as a luxury resort and Deluxe Collection Member of Worldhotels (more than 500 properties worldwide) AND is offering a secure investment with a high return on investment through guaranteed rental income. A yearly 7% rental income based on the purchase price is guaranteed for the first two years of operation. In the 3rd year, the rental profit will be split as follows: 70% for the unit owner and 30% for the hotel operator. After the 4th year, the rental profit will be shared equally between the unit owner and the hotel operator.

Will my property increase in value?
Undoubtedly. Increasing housing quality and a growing demand have caused price escalation over the past ten years and as a result, owners in the desired areas have seen a considerable rise in property values, up to 20% a year.

Am I getting a good deal?
The answer is yes if you compare what money can buy, in relative terms, with the housing market ­elsewhere (outside of Mexico). With only $10,000 USD you can reserve your condominium and benefit from low preconstruction prices. Your reservation deposit will be fully refunded to you after 7 days if you decide not to purchase at Tahéima.

Earnest Money
Be prepared to seal the deal with earnest money when you visit us at one of our Discovery Centers. Earnest money of 30% of the purchase price (paid in several installments) will be applied to your purchase price, but may be forfeited to the developer if you fail to complete the purchase.
